Each of the candle fragrances in our Joy candle range has been specifically chosen for certain areas of your home. Vervienne with it's refreshing citrus notes, perfectly combining verbena and lemon, is the ideal fragrance to enjoy in your kitchen, utility and boot room space. A well balanced fragrance that is not too sharp and one that you can enjoy even when the candle is not lit.

Hand poured in Ireland exclusively for Nook Home using soy wax and a cotton wick. Glass size is H 9cm x Dia 7.5cmThe burn time is approximately 45-50 hours.

Our Joy candles are snuggly packed in a cotton drawstring bag - the reason? We want you to enjoy your Joy candle to the very last centimeter of wax and we recommend saving that last centimeter of wax at the very bottom of the glass by removing it, once it has fully cooled and solidified, gently with a spoon, discarding the wick, and placing the wax pieces inside the cotton drawstring bag which can then be hung in the wardrobe, shoe storage cupboard etc to gently fragrance that space.

En''Joy'' an optimum clean burn every time:

• Our Joy candles have lids to prevent dust building up on the surface of the wax. Please remember to replace the lid after fully extinguishing the candle to enjoy a clean burn every time.
• For the first burn of your Joy candle we recommend to burn for 2 hours, this will avoid tunnelling in subsequent burns.
• Over-burning your candle can cause the wick to ''mushroom'' which can lead to a larger than necessary flame. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow your candle to cool for at least 2 hours before relighting. Do not allow the flame to touch the glass. Glass may become hot during use.
• Always burn your Joy candle on a secure and solid surface, away from draughts, fans and blow heaters and safely out of the reach of children and pets.
• When extinguishing your Joy candle we recommend to use a candle snuffer as it will suffocate the flame without excess smoke, this way you will avoid blowing hot wax onto furniture and walls and reduce the risk of blowing burnt wick debris into the candle wax (always remove debris and burnt matches from the candle wax prior to burning). Alternatively you can dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish the flame and straighten the wick before the wax hardens. You can find our candle accessory set here
• Trim the wick to 5mm to avoid smoking and damage to the glass and make sure it is straight before each burn and remove the trimmings - this will ensure a slower, more even and cleaner burn and will reduce the risk of debris falling into the wax.
