Nook on Loman Street used to be called Re-loved, this was the business name of my up-cycling business which I started in 2010. As my business grew and diversified I realised I had outgrown the Re-loved name and changed to ''Nook'' in the Summer of 2015.
What will you find at Nook ? lots of my favourite things!! - French/Nordic inspired interior accessories, gifts and soft furnishings. The sweetest, softest and cutest toys from Maileg. Decorative, interior & exterior paints from Autentico (Nook is a star stockist of the Autentico range). Beautiful decoupage & craft supplies from Stamperia, the complete IOD - Iron Orchid Designs Home Decor range plus a vast catalogue of general craft supplies from stencils, glues, brushes, finishing products and mouldings to stamps, napkins (sold individually and in full packs) and free standing letters and blank shapes for decoration.
Hand painting furniture is where my journey began and still plays a very important role in Nook. My workshops cover techniques such as, faux finishing & decoupage, ornate moulding and getting back to basics with paint preparation & application and how to paint your own kitchen. From time to time you will also find special guests on the workshop agenda such as the beautiful Jane Means of Jane Means Gift Wrapping and Ribbons. Also keep an eye out for our special event days which include furniture markets - full day demonstrations and much more. To find out more about the workshops check out the WORKSHOPS page here on the website, or visit the Nook facebook page at www.facebook.com/nookhome.ie
I look forward to meeting you at the shop and/or being of service to you on-line, whatever your Nook experience is , I hope it will always be a positive one.
